Triple amputee Rajesh Durbal Appointed Social Motivator

Minister of the People and Social Development, Dr. the Honourable Glenn Ramadharsingh appointed triple amputee athlete Rajesh Durbal as Social Motivator, today, Tuesday 16th July,2013 for  Durbal’s contribution to the disabled community.

Rajesh Durbal created history as the world’s first triple amputee to compete and finish in the Kona Hawaii Iron Man Triathlon Championships in 2011. Durbal has drawn acclaim and has been featured in magazines including ESPN and CNN. In 2012, he visited Trinidad and Tobago for the first time and held the nationwide “No Excuses” Tour.
